There are more than few things that I like in the way Dee, owner, and creator of Dictatorshop, runs her store. One of those things is the way she "marks" her series of furniture. It makes it easier for the final user to know what is matching with what and the way he can expand the collection, and it makes my life as a blogger and reviewer a whole lot easier and I can organize myself much better!

With that said, I'm glad that I can present for you, my dear readers, new series from Dictatorshop store, Secret Garden, with the first item, the new [Ds] Secret Garden Swing Sofa Adult Vanilla!

New Secret Garden is series of detailed mesh furniture ideal for outdoors, porches, terraces, and similar places, and let's not forget that springtime is just around the corner ;)

The SECRET GARDEN range is designed to bring fun and style to your outdoor spaces, but will look great in any relaxed setting. It's all about comfort and space and relaxing while you soak up the sun! Let the sturdy frame support you as you nestle into the deep padding and let your cares float away. Just the thing to tuck into an intimate corner of your garden. These pieces are all materials enabled to catch the light and add some seriously realistic texture to your Second Life! Designed to look great in your outdoor space.  

The Swing Sofa actually swings from the menu button ~Swing~ (button toggles swinging on and off).  It is up to the user to decide when swinging is appropriate as not all poses are going to look realistic if the swing is in motion.

The SWING Sofa and its STAND are two pieces - the swing is 12 land impact and the stand is 4 land impact.  This allows you to use the swing for a front porch or tree or other setting with just some minor tweaking.  In the event that the two pieces become misaligned use the "Edit axis at root" to copy both pieces to the same rotation and location.   The two pieces should NEVER BE LINKED as this will break the swing.

The root prims are perfectly aligned to make that simpler.  They are packed in the box as a glom with both pieces in one rezzing item.  If you rez them with the edit window open you can easily move them around without them coming apart.  If you need to edit, simply be sure to shift select each piece before moving.

TEXTURE CHANGE:

There are two texture buttons, one on the stand (logo bottom left side) and on the swing itself underneath, click the logo or the prim it is attached to access the menu.  Use alt and left mouse click to move your mouse in and out and zoom to the underside.  The texture menu can be locked down by using the ACCESS menu in the texture menu.

There are:

- 18 main cushion fabrics and coordinating pillows (controlled separately) 

- 6 leather

- 6 leaves pattern

- 6 solids 

- 9 chain cover options

- 6 metal frame metals

This gives you a huge number of possibilities to mix and match and best match your decor.

[No Kink/Threesome version? Sorry, not on this piece - I added a nice large section of Gay and Lesbian menus and there simply isn't enough room in the script memory for all those other fun things I might also add.  I may add separate swings for those features at some point but it is not in the plan for now]

This swing sports a completely reworked engine with all of the latest bento animations along with my personal faves from the classic anim engines.  Avsitter (the animation system inside the toys) has a 300 menu item limit (where it crashes) and the count is at 298 menu items with a whopping 478 animations which are meticulously organized by category so even if you do not remember the exact animation you want you are always going to be in the right ballpark.

On testing for this review of the new [Ds] Secret Garden Swing Sofa Adult Vanilla performed without any problems, animations were smooth in transition and well-aligned. I was not able to find any downsides to this fine product.
