DICTATORSHOP
[Ds] Black Widow Whip has kinda legendary status among more experienced SL users, especially if they are into BDSM roleplay. Due to user demand, this new version includes more options and a tune up. It is my pleasure to review for you, my dear readers, the newest version, [Ds] Black Widow Whip v4.0!
Technical details and description from creator, Dictatorshop Resident:
Owners of previous versions of the Black Widow Whip can get this upgrade free by visiting the main DICTATORSHOP store and click the redelivery kiosk:

"The Black Widow Whip is a DICTATORSHOP classic! It uses flexiprims to get that lovely swishing movement of leather whips. The Widow is a UNISEX whip that has five hand held whips in one: Bull Whip, Spider Whip, Horse Whip, Flogger, Quirt to choose from.
By popular demand, I have released VERSION 4 with a resizing script in the hand held part of the whip. It was never mod before because there are so many small parts to the whip that it was easy to get it messed up. The menu for resizing is in the main whip menu. An additional v4 feature is a new bento hand curl animations so that you are properly holding the whip handle.
INSTRUCTIONS
The whip has two parts (wear both) which have been renamed from the previous version to make them more informative:
[Ds] Black Widow Whip v4 (part 1 of 2 - wear on hand)
[Ds] Black Widow Holstered v4 (part 2 of 2 - wear on hip)
To work your whip, click on the handle hand held part of the whip to pop up the menu or type /1menu to get menu, /1draw to put it in your hand, or /1hip to holster it. When one part is visible the other part will disappear to give the effect that the whip has moved from hip to hand or back. If the Holster and Hand Whip are both visible and both pieces are attached, click on your right hand, and the whip will become visible.
When you first wear the Holstered part it will be far out from your hip, this is to make it easier to rotate and move it to fit yourself (better to far out than lost inside your leg). You can right click and edit it to move it as you like. This version allows stretching/resizing of the holstered part so you can get the best fit.

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE YOUR WIDOW WHIP SAVED IN YOUR OUTFITS FOLDER:
You can quickly update all of the links to your whip pieces in existing outfits quite easily in Firestorm. Simply find your old version of the whip parts in your inventory. Right click it and choose REPLACE LINKS
A small window "Replace Inventory Links" pops up and shows the old item in the OLD field - it will indicate the number of found links near the bottom.
Now you can drop the new whip part (after it is unpacked of course) into the New box and press START. This updates all of the links to the new item.
Repeat the replacement for the second whip part as well. Done.
** ADJUSTING THE WHIP IN YOUR HAND
The whip is UNRIGGED, which means you can adjust how it fits into your hand or on your hip for the second part. You can only move the whole whip, the pieces are not adjustable because there are so many bits to the whip that it is simply too easy to break it. The new resizer script in this version should help if you need it a bit larger or smaller.
The simplest way to get the adjuster gizmos where you can use them easily is to edit the whip and click the box "edit axis at root" on the edit window. That will move the focus to the bottom of the whip handle - rather than the center of the entire whip. This allows you to move it just a little bit and rotate as needed without the whole whip going off in some random direction on you.
